We opened on Friday 13th February 2009 and although we have been open for two years, lack of funding from our Banking Empire has left the pub somewhat unfinished and what can only be described as a work in progress.We have a Skittle Alley which can be used as a Function Room for Private Functions, i.e. Weddings, Children’s Parties, Birthday Parties, Club Meetings, etc and a large garden in which you can pop up tents if you wish to stay overnight for an event subject to prior arrangement.We have live music every Saturday night. If you have any suggestions of bands you would like us to book, please let us know and we will see what we can do. We love our Local Ales and regularly have on tap offerings from the likes of Triple FFF, Bowmans, Hog's Back and Others. Also just down the road is Mr Whitehead's Cider which we stock through the Summer together with a wide range of Soft Drinks.
